Justin Laukat has been passionately involved in music most of his life. Ever since a young age, he has found        great joy and satisfaction by being involved in the creative music process. He is an extremely versatile composer and clarinetist who also doubles on saxophone and piano. He currently performs as a Clarinetist with the Navy Band Southwest. He has performed for many other band/orchestra groups such as the Utah Wind Symphony, Principal Clarinet in Brigham Young University's (BYU) Chamber Orchestra and Wind Symphony. He graduated from BYU with a bachelors degree in clarinet performance and also taught lessons to non-major students. He has worked as a technician repairing clarinets and saxophones at Cannonball Musical Instruments. He has worked for various groups/organizations transcribing/ transposing/ arranging and composing music using finale music notating software.
